Men’s Section

The Men’s Section of Blackburn Golf Club has a large membership and contains golfers of all ages and abilities. It is a very competitive membership with competitions running throughout the week, specifically on Thursdays, with principal Club competitions being held on Saturdays. So there ia always plenty of opportunities for competitive golf.

For those just wanting a friendly and social game you will not be short of invitations to join one of the many informal “chuck ins”.

The Club is a member of the East Lancashire Golf Association and the Manchester and District Golf Alliance, both of which run inter-club and individual competitions and matches, allowing members to play a wide variety of courses in the region.

The Club also has an active Seniors’ section which organises competitions throughout the year and fields teams in the interclub *Red Rose and Ribble Valley leagues.

It’s not only golf that attracts golfers to Blackburn Golf Club, the stunning views of the Pennine Hills and Lancashire coast, as well as a thriving social scene make Blackburn Golf Club a great place to play!
