Women in Golf Charter
Blackburn Golf Club is proud to be at the forefront of promoting the game of golf to all, and not least to Women. Our aim is to further develop a culture that values women’s involvement in the game of golf, from participation to pursuing a career in golf.
The Club is grateful to Mrs. Wendy Wyke and other members of the Club’s Women’s Section for seizing this initiative with so much enthusiasm and producing a thoroughly comprehensive and pertinent document. And this has manifested itself with the launch of the Women’s Golf Development Programme, the introduction of ‘Alternate Day’ Women’s competition, the start of the ‘Golf Rocks’ programme for girls, the Club welcoming a number of new Women members and much, much more.
